Punjab: CBSE Class XII, Class X Board Examinations on April 2 postponed, no change in Chandigarh and rest of country
CBSE has postponed the exams of 10th and 12th class which were scheduled on April 2,2018. These orders are for state of Punjab. While there is no change in the schedule for Chandigarh and the rest of the country. CBSE will conduct exams on 2nd April 2018 in Chandigarh and all over the country except the state of Punjab. CBSE has issued a press release for the postponed of the examination.
CBSE has issued these orders on the request of director general school education Punjab government. He has requested CBSE that the law and order is still not stable in state of Punjab. While exams will be conducted all over the country expect Punjab.
There is a call for Bharat bandh because of it there will be a chance of a lot of disturbance and problems in state of Punjab on 2nd April 2018. Government of Punjab has taken a decision to close all schools on 2nd April 2018. They have also requested CBSE to postponed all exams in state of Punjab to avoid any inconvenience for students.
Board has not announced the next dates for the examinations yet but it will be announced soon.
Because of the Bharat Bandh call on April 2, government of Punjab has decided to close all transport services in all over the state on Monday. The state government has taken a decision to temporarily close all the mobile services, internet services and as well as dongle services on mobiles on all mobile networks. The suspension duration of these services is form 5 pm (Sunday) to 11 pm (Monday).
Rahul Tiwari said that These orders are given to avoid any problems and issues and to prevent any sort of rumors and misinformation and to keep peace all over the state of Punjab.
